Most recently, on October 26, we had an open
Rambler.Android # 4 meeting. This is our first Android mitap after a long break. And we can state with confidence that the return has taken place.
When selecting topics, we tried to touch on the most relevant and interesting topics from the world of Android development.
Sergey Solodovnikov opened the mitap, befell the Zen CoordinatorLayout. In his speech, he spoke about the reasons for the appearance of this component and the mechanisms underlying it. After reviewing the report, you will understand exactly what tasks CoordinatorLayout helps to solve, and how to use it correctly, at the expense of application performance.

The second presentation was devoted to the metrics of our Android applications and the infrastructure that collects them.
Edward Sergeev shared our techniques for monitoring the status of all projects using Gitlab, Jenkins, Sonarqube and Dashing. After this report, we decided to give our guests a short respite, and at the same time play a lot of prizes from our sponsors, and in general, in our opinion, it turned out quite fun.
