In late September, a
note appeared on Habré with reference to a checklist for checking applications for compliance with European legislation in the field of data protection. In the comments to the note, several people expressed the wish to translate the document from German into a local dialect. No one decided to translate this document into Russian.
"I left the translation draft on
GitBooks (please add all the changes to the translation right there).
»A compiled and ready for combat version of the document can be found
here .
The original version is still
here .
This checklist is designed to support developers and application providers in the development of new solutions and test their development for compliance with the requirements of European legislation in the field of data protection and Privacy by Design concepts and Privacy by Default.
')
The BayLDA catalog was created based on the experience of checking the level of protection of mobile application data, and besides the technical aspects, it covers legal and, for example, helps developers to draw up correct privacy policies or work with different data types (content data, usage data, private data, inventory data).
In the translation, I tried to write down all the abbreviations and give as many additional references to legal norms or terms as are unaccustomed to the Russian ear. The catalog itself is based on an even larger
document . Please leave a request for translation thereof in the comments.
Also, if necessary, I am ready to provide all possible assistance in understanding the paragraphs to which there are references in the checklist (knock in private).
