Announcement of the meeting ThinkJava # 4 (Kharkov)

We invite you to the next meeting of Java-developers ThinkJava # 4. The speakers of our ThinkJava-community crossed the seas and oceans to visit the SpringOne Platform in Las Vegas, and are now ready to share their knowledge and experience with all the ThinkJava guests # 4. We dedicate this meeting to cloud computing issues.



The program of performances:

Alexander Malinovsky, "Applications Development with Cloud Foundry":

• discuss what a “cloud” is and talk about the main types of cloud computing;
• We will pay special attention to the “platform as a service” cloud computing model (Platform as a Service or PaaS), and consider it on the example of Cloud Foundry;
• talk about the criteria to be met by the Cloud-Native application, as well as consider the main components and capabilities of Cloud Foundry;
• Let's deploy a real application on CF and test zero downtime deployment in practice.

Roman Tsymbalenko, "Cloud Data Wrangling":

• Consider the principles and capabilities of building systems for processing continuous data streams using the Spring ecosystem;
• discuss the causes and benefits of converting these systems to the cloud and see how their development and deployment will improve when using the Cloud Foundry platform and existing Spring subprojects;
• Let's talk about which integrations are provided now and what to expect in the future.
