Adobe Image Foundation (AIF) preview release
A rather interesting Adobe.Labs website has released a new version of the “Great Technology” Preview Release (as they write about it) - the AIF Toolkit.
In general, the technology is similar to Apple's Core Image, but has innovations and improvements. And allows you to apply "Fast-as-hell filters" (damn-fast filters) in your applications. Promises that AIF will be supported in the next version of Flash Player.
And finally: the Toolkit supports writing and debugging filter code in a script language with the code name “Hydra” (full TBA name).
