Results Ruby Hero Russia Award 2016

Hello! The RailsClub'2016 conference is over, and the Ruby Hero Russia Award 2016 has been summed up with it.

The Ruby Hero Russia Award 2016 is an award for outstanding contributions to the development of technology and the Ruby language community.

Initially, we offered each of you to nominate a hero who, from your point of view, is worthy of an award. By the time of summing up the nominees, we had nine of which most often nominated four.

A week before the conference, we launched a vote and you chose the best of the best. The fight was played out in earnest and at the time of awarding the results were as follows:

• Anton Davydov - 66 votes
• Vitaly Kurennov - 57 votes
• Vladimir Dementiev - 50 votes
• Nikita Shilnikov - 39 votes

Very pleased that we did not have an unconditional leader. Anton's backlog from Vitaly is only nine votes. It's nice to know that there are many heroes in our country who are worthy of an award.

Anton received a commemorative crystal figurine from the hands and with the personal signature of Yukihiro Matsumoto.
