October 27, Digital October will host Russian FinTech Meetup # 1

Already this Thursday, October 27 in the center of Moscow, in the main conference room of Digital October there will be a meeting organized by the Russian Fintech community. The event opens a cycle of monthly meetings on the most current trends in financial innovation. Everyone can be guests of the event, be it leaders or FINTECH enthusiasts. The sphere of financial technology is characterized by the speed of changes occurring in it. Only last week a number of large-scale industry events have occurred. Alibaba announced its plans to launch payments in virtual reality this year, for which VR-glasses and a special headset are enough. American retail giant Walmart has announced its partnership with IBM to integrate the blockchain into the food supply process. The blockchain of the Golos social media project was launched, the participants of which can receive cryptocurrency rewards for generating content. Marina Gureva, Head of the Partner’s Voice project, will be speaking at the Russian FinTech Meetup # 1.

According to various estimates, in Russia about 100 project teams are involved in start-ups in the sphere of fintech, and their number does not cease to grow. Practices have emerged in this area that have deeply studied various areas of financial innovation. At the same time, the unrealized potential of interaction between participants in various areas of fintech is noticeable.

The goal of the Russian FinTech Meetup organizers, the Russian FinTech community, is to bring together industry representatives who are ready to share their accumulated experience and knowledge.
