The Free Software Movement (CEW) stands for personal and social freedoms. It is for the owner and the user of the computer to have full control over it. However, most people do not see the problem in that a limited number of multinational mega-corporations control the computers of everyone. People think: “Apple and Microsoft know what to do, and they do it well. Why do I need free software? ”
Accepting the fact that most people ignore the true meaning of free software, how can the free software movement make this world a better place?
1) The ACT community can teach people that many things in this world can be done differently. For example, that software can be written by the developer individually or by a community of enthusiasts. That the source code does not have to be kept secret from users. That programs are not some kind of magic, you can understand how they work. This applies to everyone: there is no benefit in being ignorant.

2) If a person is freed from illusions about non-free platforms that he uses or realizes that the non-free software industry does not meet his needs, there is always an open source software community for him. The community creates free software and supports people who want to learn and use them.
3) The OSS community and the OSS fund [
Europe ,
USA ] criticize companies owning proprietary software. This serves as protection even for non-free software users. If a company owning proprietary software violates the rights of its users, articles will be written about this and campaigns will be launched to notify the public. If they are trying to jointly promote any legislation or trade agreement that violates the rights of computer users, comments will be sent to the legislators and petitions will be drawn up.
Thus, I believe that free software really helps everyone, even those who do not use it and who do not care. And I think that the free software movement will become an ever more important defender of people's civil rights, as we move into an increasingly computerized future.
