Gateway One desktop acquires official publicity

Yesterday morning (September 26), details about the new PC by Gateway, codenamed “One”, appeared on several sites at once. Today, September 27, the device was exhibited at the Digital Live exhibition.

“One” is a monolithic all-in-one device, has a DVD-recorder on board, a bunch of different (unspecified at the moment) inputs, it can even be hung on the wall. The screen is 19-inch, 1400x900 pixels, which in our time is slightly small, but still looks very decent. One has a dual removable hard drive, which can be obtained only by opening the back cover and RAM, not to mention the 5-in-1 card reader.
The kit includes a wireless mouse, keyboard and remote control (!), USB webcam, and in the most expensive package will be a USB TV-Tuner.
The device will be delivered in three configurations:

- 1.5 GHz Core 2 Duo processor, 2 GB of RAM, 320 GB of ROM, and an integrated Intel X3100 video card. The announced price is $ 1,300.
- 2 GHz C2D, 3 GB of RAM, 500 GB of ROM and Mobility Radeon HD 2600 card. This miracle will cost $ 1,800.
