
We have good news - finally we will organize a hackathon according to criminal statistics, already next weekend: October 22-23.
Participants will be offered three sets of data:
1. Official data of criminal statistics of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation in two regions of the Republic of Tatarstan. Competitors will be offered to develop prototypes of user services for an automated system of legal statistics. According to the results of the contest, the best practices will be used for further software development of user services of the legal statistics system, which is currently being created by the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation with the participation of Open Government experts;

2. Criminal statistics data of the city of Moscow for 2011-2015, collected manually by financial analyst Andrey Ekimov from annual reports and analytical notes of district OMVD (total 125), district (11 total), police department of Moscow, reports of inter-district prosecutor's offices, transcripts of video recordings of meetings municipal councils on which heads of regional departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported, publications of regional newspapers. Resources - open sources (sites of district air traffic control, police department, district municipalities and newspapers);
3. Portal datasets
secure roads . Information on road traffic accidents with victims on federal, regional and inter-municipal roads provided by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.

- Mikhail Milekhin, Deputy Director, FSBI CECI;
- Maxim Osovsky, a teacher at the British Higher School of Design.
Hackathon is carried out with the support of the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation.
