Results of the survey on the functions of the browser Vivaldi

Hello! Three weeks ago, we began a short survey on Vivaldi functions , the purpose of which was to find out which browser features are popular with users. Let me remind you that the survey participants were offered a list of already existing Vivaldi functions, from which you could choose no more than five of the most popular in the user's opinion. Naturally, it was about the functions that the survey participant actually uses in their daily work. The survey process did not go very smoothly for technical reasons - some users could not complete the vote, but, anyway, the majority managed to do it and today we can talk about the results.

First of all - some statistics. Actually, the survey lasted 10 days - from September 21 to September 30, and during this time more than 1600 users were able to express their opinions. In the table below you can see the full list of functions sorted by popularity among users (in brackets beside the name of the function is its number in the survey list):


As you can see, no special surprises happened: users still prefer the functional side of working with the browser, and all the decorative delights and amenities are overshadowed. I can say that the results of this survey, translated into English, were sent a few days ago directly to the developers - so they got a kind of hint from users that beauty and convenience are good only when they act as “packaging” for the really important and useful functionality.

Yes, if someone saw the discrepancy between the sum of answers and the number of voters. Let me remind you that it was allowed to choose up to 5 functions in the list, so the same user could add up to five points to the total number of answers.
