Gamers, rejoice: American researchers have
found that video games with a “rich picture” have a positive effect on vision.
The results of the University of Rochester study suggest that people who played action video games several hours a day for a month improved their visual performance by 20%.
“Action video games influence how the brain perceives visual information,” says Professor Daphne Bavelye. “These games make a person’s visual system work at the limit of capabilities — and the brain adapts to this.”

In tests conducted during the year, students participated in the university. The "experimental" were divided into two groups: the first one per day played in the Unreal Tournament, the second - in Tetris. According to the results of the subsequent vision tests, it turned out that the indicators of the first group improved by an average of 20%.
