The logic of consciousness. Explanation "on the fingers"
The series of articles "The Logic of Consciousness" approached its middle. Seven previous parts were devoted to the description of the pattern-wave model of information dissemination in the brain, the inherent model of the mechanism of quasi-holographic memory, the semantic model of information and how mini-columns of the cortex create the space for computing contexts.
The proposed model does not apply to mainstream neuroscience. Most modern researchers believe that artificial neural networks and biological neural structures are similar in nature and are based on common principles. In our model, the brain has nothing to do with neural networks. The difference is approximately the same as between classical and quantum mechanics. Externally, the results in some places may be similar, but they are based on completely different principles. The unconventionality of the model being described makes it very difficult to perceive the material. Moreover, the deeper a person is familiar with neuroscience or artificial neural networks, the harder it is. Encountering in each line something that does not correspond to the usual ideas for themselves, one involuntarily experiences constant indignation. I myself am very familiar with this feeling.
In the seven previous parts, I tried to consistently justify the main provisions of the model. It turned out quite long and, most likely, in places is not very clear. The chances that someone had the strength and desire to read everything carefully and thoughtfully are extremely few. I myself would not have spent so much time if I was not sure that what was written was worth it. ')
Somewhat later, I will show interesting examples of practical implementations. Perhaps this will force someone to re-read everything more carefully. In the meantime, for those who are trying to follow the general train of thought, but do not have the opportunity to read everything carefully, I recorded a video in which I set forth the "summary of the previous series."
I wanted to briefly and “on the fingers” explain the main ideas. Alas, it turned out not very briefly and not so intelligibly. My colleague Dima Shabanov, watching this video, said that if I want to completely confuse everyone, then I'm on the right track.
Mitkov has a poem: “In order to express everything at once, I hit the pelvis with my fist ...” It seems that somehow it happened. But still, I decided to post this video before publishing the following parts. Perhaps, it will give someone a reason for reflection.
