Apple TV - support for USB drives.

Many Apple TV users have been waiting for more capacious HDDs to appear, no more waiting. The network has published a manual detailing the procedure for connecting an external USB drive and increasing the available disk space.

Unfortunately, the process is not elementary, to connect an external drive, you need to handle the terminal (SSH). In addition, this method was tested only on the first version of the firmware (version 1.1 has not yet been confirmed) and another drawback - after making all the changes, the size of the built-in HDD will decrease by 40 or 160 gigabytes (will not be taken into account by the firmware), but agree that this is a small price for the ability to connect 1-2 terabytes to your device.
