Five things all customers want to know

I meet with potential clients on a regular basis. The first meeting usually determines whether you receive the order or not. So what can be done to convince the client that you can do it?

Over the years I have found out that customers need complete confidence. They want to know if you can be trusted to solve their problem. The list of questions they are most likely to ask is:

1. Can you release what we need, on time and within the budget?

Can you show a simple, logical process of creating a site to a client? Can you explain how to avoid or solve problems?

2. Will the site work?

How do you guarantee the client that the site will work exactly as they expect? Can you do this without resorting to complex technical explanations.

3. Will the site look good?

Do you have a portfolio or a list of works that can be demonstrated? Can you tell us how you will work with a client to get a design that they and their users will like?

4. Will it be easy to maintain the site?

How often will have to maintain the site and who will do it? If the client is going to serve the site himself, is a training and acclimatization period planned for him? If you serve the site, do you have a technological service process and a contract or a transparent tariff schedule?

5. Who will take care of the site in the long term?

Where will you be in a year, two or three? Who can you offer as a replacement if something happens to you?
If you can answer these questions calmly and confidently, it will be easier for you to convince the client!
