On June 1, researchers from Osaka University's Graduate School of Engineering demonstrated a robot whose sole purpose is to imitate a human child. Scientists hope that this robot will allow them to better understand the process of becoming “CB2” (as scientists called the robot) was designed in accordance with a 1-2 year old child: he scrutinizes the environment, wriggles on the floor and displays other pseudo-signs of childish charm. With a growth of 130 cm, CB2 weighs 33 kg, 56 pneumatic cylinders replace the muscular system, and the eyes replace chambers. CB2 is equipped with 197 tactile sensors embedded in silicone skin. If you touch the CB2, it will blink and turn around to see who it touches. If a toy gets in his field of view, CB2 will make every effort to get to it. He also tries to speak (of course, just like all children at his age - in his own language).
PS Asimov certainly did not promise us this, but with what the same should begin :)
