Checking the mobile application for legality

The Bavarian data protection regulator has published a checklist that can be used when developing a mobile application to monitor compliance with all data requirements. The checklist is not mandatory, but it is recommended to use it to check compliance with all requirements when developing an application. It is based on a data protection guide for developers and distributors of mobile applications, which is developed by the same regulator.

If we recall that the German data protection regulation is one of the most stringent in Europe, then we can be sure almost certainly that if we use the checklist when developing an application, the application will not violate any European data protection requirements.
