Apple I or Motherboard of all Apple Motherboards

Apple I Motherboard
A long time ago, before the iPod, before the Macintosh, and even before the founding of the Apple Computer Company on April 1, 1976, was the Apple I. Designed by Steve "Woz" Wozniak, then an engineer at Hewlett-Packard, the Apple I was not yet a personal computer , and a printed circuit board to which users had to fasten their own keyboard, display, and power device.

The very first Apple I was installed in 1976 in the Windsor Junior High School math class in the California city of Vinsdor. A total of about two hundred Apple I motherboards were manufactured. In 1977, Apple launched the Apple II, which could be purchased both as a motherboard and as a full package with the case, keyboard, and power device.
Wozniak designed the Apple I so that different processes use the same chips, thus reducing the number of components on the board. This elimination of duplication plus the use of cheap components, such as the twenty-dollar microprocessor MOS Technology 6502 instead of the usual at that time Motorola 6800 for $ 175, allowed him and Steve Jobs to offer the Apple I at a reasonable price of $ 666.66 (He liked repeated numbers). In today's prices it is about 2400 dollars.
Wozniak was an absolute idealist - he wanted everyone to have access to a computer. The simple design and reasonable cost should have made the Apple I affordable for schoolchildren, students, and teachers.
