Texas and Minnesota may become the second and third (after Massachusetts) US states, where the ODF (Open Document Format for XML) format will be adopted as the official one.

InfoWorld . On July 1, 2008, Minnesota will go to the open format of documents, and Texas will be tightened later - on September 1 of the same year.
