The popularity of Firefox in Europe
Since April 2006, the share of Firefox in Europe has increased by 5 points (from 19.4% in April 2006 to 24.1% in March 2007):

In two European countries, the share of Firefox exceeded 40%: Slovenia (44.5%) and Finland (41.3%). In Croatia, Germany and Slovakia, this figure was more than 35%.
According to the
XiTi study, the level of use of Firefox in Europe as a whole increased from 23.2% in November 2006 to 24.1% in March 2007. The greatest progress over this period was recorded in the Czech Republic: from 26.7% to 31.5% (+4.8% of Firefox), i.e. 18%. In 5 of the 30 countries participating in the study, the share of Firefox in relation to November 2006 was observed: Hungary (–3.9 points), Denmark (-1.7), Estonia (-1), Holland (-0.7), Italy (-0.5) .
Slovenia is still ahead of the rest of Europe: 44.5% in March 2007, and the growth rate remains quite high: +4 points from November 2006. Finland is in second place (+2 points) and Croatia is in third place: 36.5% (+3.7), followed by Germany and Slovakia are coming.
In France, the level of use of Firefox (22.3%) is still below European average, but steady growth is observed: + 4% in November 2006 and already + 8% in March 2007. In Spain, the growth rate is even higher (2 points) - the share of Firefox increased from 13.7 % to 15.7%.
The popularity of firefox in the world
Oceania continues to lead, ahead of Europe in terms of Firefox usage.
With a rise of 1.4 points, Firefox’s share in Oceania was 24.8% in March 2007, which is 0.7% higher than in Europe.
Firefox feels good on other continents - in North America, Africa and South America, but in Asia its share and growth are quite moderate.
