Demand analysis: by what criteria do virtual servers select
In one of our previous articles, it was about offering virtual servers. Let's try to look at the question from the other side. Frequently hosters ask us which tariffs are most in demand, which virtual server parameters are most often searched for, etc., so some time ago we decided to collect statistics of search queries on VDS.menu and find out what characteristics users choose virtual servers for . Almost 200 thousand queries were analyzed, and now we are ready to present the results of this study.
Also recently launched project Poisk.Hosting , which collected reviews about hosts. A more detailed description is provided at the end of the article . At the time of this writing, the number of added reviews is 8263 for 342 companies .
To search by disk size, two values are set: minimum and maximum. One or both of them may be omitted. Requests with the specified minimum value turned out to be 17133, with the specified maximum - 3451, with two specified values - 2819.
