DataArt and GDG invite to RIF-Voronezh 2016

If you work in IT and live in Voronezh, then you already know what RIF-Voronezh is . The Russian Internet Forum is two days when thousands of like-minded people are going to discuss the most topical issues, share experiences and tell about their projects. Google Developer Group VRN and DataArt, which each year host the largest IT conferences in Voronezh ( GDG DevFest , IT NonStop, and others), invite you to RIF on September 16 and 17.

If you don’t come to Voronezh, but you want to participate, watch the online broadcast on the conference website . But, if the opportunity to visit the forum live is still there, be sure to come. After all, the experience of the RIF is not only the knowledge that you will receive from the experts, but also a sea of new acquaintances and communication with like-minded people.

This year the forum will feature more than 100 speakers with a variety of topics: from web development to marketing, design and IoT. All the reports are united by one thing - they are based on the living experience of real projects, including start-ups and gigantic international projects.

This year, three speakers from GDG: Zviad Kardava, Google Developer: IoT, Denis Neklyudov, Google Developer: Android, and Evgeny Saturov, Android-developer of Surf.

In the report “The Internet of Things is a buzzword or reality?” I will tell you about the Internet of Things in general: what is it, segments, some figures, estimates and forecasts. Let's discuss how “smart home” helps us save time and effort, how important the industrial Internet of things is today, how it allows us to optimize different stages of production and how important optimization is at 1%. Let's talk about real-world examples of using the Internet of things: “smart cities”, Connected Cars (I'll show what Tesla and Google see Self-Driving Car), Machine Learning and how it all relates to IoT. We will discuss security and new challenges. I will tell, of course, about the latest news in the world of IoT, from Google and not only.

In general, let's talk about the fact that the Internet of things is not just a fashionable term for marketers.

Zviad Kardava, Google Developer: IoT.

I will tell you a secret - my report will be about the newest Android. He just came out on “Nexus”, and the rest of the vendors are only thinking of releasing. But this does not mean that our applications should not be ready for it. We will discuss many changes in the system, and how they will affect the developers. I will try to speak in simple language so that it is understandable even to those who are still not familiar with the nuances of development for Android.

I am pleased to answer all your Android questions and support colleagues in the mobile section after their presentations.

Denis Neklyudov, Google Developer: Android.

I will tell you about Firebase. Ease of service integration can provide a quick start to a small project. Let's look at the history of Firebase rebirth (we compare how it was and how it became), the very idea of consolidating cross-platform services. Be sure to consider all noteworthy services, mainly in the context of Android-development, with examples from the real experience of the team.

Evgeny Saturov, Android-developer of Surf.

RIF will be a good start to the autumn sequence of IT events. Already in November, the traditional GDG DevFest will be held in Voronezh, which will once again become even bigger and more interesting. There are a lot of surprises ahead - follow the news to not miss anything.

See you at the RIF-Voronezh!
