Dropbox - stop displaying HTML content in the browser

This morning (09/01/2016) I received an email with the following content:

Strange, at first glance, the decision. But perhaps it has something to do with the recent data leak .

Personally, I, like hundreds of other users, have long loved the simple and convenient dropbox HTML-sharing as the best tool for displaying interactive 2D / 3D demos (for the Unity Assetstore, through the Unity Web Player) or even full-fledged 2D games - on WebGL, HTML5.


Interestingly, I did not find this sad news on Dropbox blogs. Well, you have to look for an alternative.

I did the same thing, but on BitBacket.
Of course, it is a little harder than just throwing content into a public folder, but it works fine.
And the address is shorter and more beautiful.
