The preliminary program of the largest Eurasian Android conference, Droidcon , will be published in Moscow on September 22, 2016 for the third time. The business program will be divided into four main areas: Android, Firebase, VR and IoT.

Android

The Android section will look at two popular architectural approaches: Mateusz Herych will tell Google Developer Expert from Poland about the advanced MVP implementation in their projects; Daniil Serdyukov will tell us about MVVM in the realities of modern projects with good test coverage and pinch of reactivity.

Firebase

One of the main themes of the Google I / O conference in May was the release of Firebase , a set of tools designed for the development of mobile applications. Within the section, the speakers tried to cover all the components of the presented system.

The first topic will be devoted to the key tool introduced in Firebase and which favorably distinguishes it from its competitors - Analytics. Timur Akhmetgareyev, Senior Android developer App in the Air, will talk about how Analytics integrates with other components of the system, about each of these components separately and, of course, shares real cases and ways to implement them. Then Alexey Mileev will tell about the features of migration of projects created on the basis of Parse on Firebase. The third report will be presented by Sergey Smetanin to the CTO of the Rubeacon company. He will talk about solving problems from the company's practice, demonstrate the use of such tools as RDB, Remote Config and FCM. Here the participants are expected not only by the description of the implementation, but also by the performance evaluation and much more. Reports are based on real tasks: the speakers promise that they will be lively and interesting.

VR

The VR section contains reports on the latest trends in VR, on what has not yet sounded at other conferences. This year, the IoT section is held for the first time on the Droidcon. Immediately, two Google Developer Expert on the Internet of Things - Zviad Kardava and Sasha Voltaire, who are developing SmartHome solutions at Deutsche Telekom AG, will talk about what awaits developers due to the growing popularity of IoT. Sasha will present a report on how to prototype IoT solutions using different IDEs, visual languages ​​and even Minecraft. Voltaire proves that this approach can be applied to real projects using IoT platforms and SmartHome solutions, such as Google Weave, Eddystone Beacons, Eclipse SmartHome or openHAB. And Zviad Kardava will show how to assemble the magic mirror himself.
