5 great ideas for any undertaking (free translation of The Art of The Start)
I was given here to read Guy Kawasaki's excellent book. Called The Art of the Start. I realized that than just reading a book, it is much more interesting to translate it immediately and take notes. So, let's begin.
5 great ideas for any undertaking
Make the world better . The best reason to start organizing ants in columns is the desire to furnish an anthill. So the first thing you need to do is figure out how you can make the world a better place.
Compose a mantra . Usually, all Western authors recommend formulating their mission. Guy advises to forget about it. It is unlikely that anyone will remember. Even less likely that someone will apply it. Instead of a mission, you need to take that way to make the world better that you came up with and compose a mantra based on it. This will direct your team to the right course.
Start doing. . Start developing. Immediately. Do not focus on speaking, writing, planning, etc.
Define your business model . No matter what organization you create, you must clearly understand where you will take money from. The coolest idea, the greatest technology will die out of money very soon.
Formulate the tasks, write down the assumptions you made, identify milestones . The final step is to compile three lists: (a) the most important milestones, (b) the list of tasks that must be completed to reach the milestones, (c) the list of responsible persons who will carry out these tasks.
X-Post in my blog . Continuation will be in the same place.
