On August 11, the release of Hyperloop, a technology that allows accessing native iOS and Android APIs from Javascript code, took place. Hyperloop will be available to subscribers of the platform (Appcelerator Platform) on all plans, except Indie.
Titanium is known as one of the first technologies that convert JS into native code without hybrid compromises. Previously, in order to implement functionality that was not provided for in the Titanium API (Android Pay, Apple Pay, Helathkit, Touch ID, CocoaPods), it was necessary to assemble (or write) a native module for the target platform and compile it, for example, NDK. Now absolutely all platform SDKs, including Swift, are available in JS. Updated / new features in the Android API or Objecive-C will automatically become available. This means that Titanium developers can now use both Swift and Objective-C classes simultaneously. Hyperloop is also available in the trial version of the platform. In the future, developers are planning to add Windows support to Hyperloop.
