ORSIO b721 is another clone of the Taiwanese StarBook with a new title. We have already seen a similar clone, this is ExPlay TXT.book. True, unlike the fellow, the new version differs by more advanced software and a more capacious SD card in the kit.
SCREEN
The screen on this book is the previous generation, from which all the disadvantages in comparison with the screen installed LBook V3 / SONY PRS-505. Namely: low contrast, dark gray background, slow update of information and the rest of the previous page when updating.

Linux operating system from the company Warelex (www.warelex.com), which, with a very weak processor, gives a short battery life, about 12-15 hours. Supports HTML, TXT, FB2, RTF, DjVu. There is only one font, but there is an opportunity to choose 6 sizes from impossibly small, to acceptable. Support all formats from ZIP archive. Support JPG, PNG and MP3.
EXECUTION
The performance is no different from the original StarBook: a thin plastic case, with a pleasant to the touch "soft rubber" texture. Below right is a four-way button with an additional center. On the sides of the device are additional chrome buttons (volume, back, ...).

EQUIPMENT
Book, 2GB SD card, vertical case (curious version with magnetic snaps and built-in stand), PSU (miniUSB), miniUSB-USB cable, headphones (any will not work, since the connector is installed micro jack), hand strap, warranty card (service center in Moscow only), user manual (A5 format sheet).
CONCLUSION
The device is current two years ago. StarBook has bought a lot of old screens and is now trying to get rid of them. The cost of 7980 rubles for such a device, in my opinion, is very high, provided that the LBook V3 can already be bought for less than 9000 rubles and the price for it continues to fall.
