We have created a site, which was later transferred to the support of another web studio (let's call it “XXX”). Studio "XXX", leaving the design developed by us, changed the layout and fastened its CMS.
Accordingly, the link to us as a developer was changed to the phrase “Website development - studio“ XXX ”.

At my request to indicate at least that the design development was carried out by us, “XXX” studio replied that (I quote) “You are not a developer of the program code on which the site works!”
Interested in:
1) Is the creation of design in the development of the site?
2) Is it right to designate only the “XXX” studio as a developer?
