AllTheCode began searching Java sources

The AllTheCode website launched a new source code search system, which added to the list, which included Google Code Search and Koders .

Nik Cubrilovic, the author of the material in the TechCrunch tehnoblog, calls the results returned in Java relevant, but complains about the impossibility of filtering them by the user himself.

The results display the first ten lines of code, followed by a link to “continue.” If you click on it, the whole code will open (you can simply view it in the browser), and a link to the original will appear. True, unlike Google Code Search, the AllTheCode search engine does not show under which license the code is published.

“If you are a Java programmer, then you need to add this site to the list of working tools. If not, stop by in a while - AllTheCode promises support for other languages, ”adds Michael Calore, a Wired blogger.
