According to Rambler.iOS # 7

On Wednesday, July 20, the seventh Rambler.iOS meeting took place, which we have already announced at Habré. At the request of participants in previous events, this time special attention was paid to communication between developers.

Three reports were announced, two of which were linked by a common theme - mobile payments.

The first report of Alexey Sychev “Internet Acquiring 101” covers the issues of the theory of payments, tells how the payment process takes place, and what problems the server developer will have to face.

For a short break, Konstantin Zinoviev prepared a puzzle game in which conference participants were asked to guess the iOS app from its screenshot and get a cool prize - a license from our sponsors or a T-shirt.

Further, continuing the theme of bank payments, Alexander Sychev made a presentation on "Accepting payments by bank cards in an iOS application." Sasha told us how to organize the process on the client application side, what restrictions and integration options exist.

In order to defuse the atmosphere and find answers to long-standing questions, participants moved into the Tech Talks coverage area and discussed topics such as VIPER, service architecture, our open-source tools, and workflow organization with leading sections from the iOS team of Rambler & Co.

The final was the speech of Andrei Rezanov "Building a complex tabular interface." Andrei shared his development experience on the example of the Afisha project, and also told how to properly decompose such a screen and how the pattern builder helps with this.

Afterparty in the “Paper” bar-restaurant was another step towards closer integration of guests with our team. In an informal setting, we continued to discuss issues arising during the Tech Talks.
