Stonehenge - a digital watch controlled by a robot
Stonehenge is a digital watch controlled by a robot arm. Squares-cards with numbers are placed around the robot with one big hand (the design very much resembles the famous Stonehenge, hence the name of the device), 4 squares in front, the numbers in which show time, and the rest, spare, are arranged on the right and left sides. The robot takes the squares with his hand and changes them among themselves, showing the time. One square has digits on both sides, so he can turn them over too. Work demonstration can be viewed in short form below the article.
Replacing one card takes half a minute, and two cards - one minute, so that the hand has time to change the displayed time.
The device consists of a Robotic Arm, a robot arm, and a chip called Parallax Propeller. There are 14 squares of cards with digits. The built-in software first calculates which card to take and which side to put it, and then gives the appropriate command to the robot. The size of each card is 4.4 cm. X 10 cm. ')
Stonehenge will be sold in the store Botmag.com presumably from September 15. The developer of this watch is Norris Labs. About the price is not reported. Next, watch the video showing the device in action.
