The film "Neuromanta" William Gibson

The fact that one of my favorite novels in the world will still be filmed, I learned in January of this year on IMDB. True, the director was first declared different, but the most interesting thing was that Darth Vader Hayden Christensen was to play the leading role. It was very strange that, according to the book of the protagonist, his name is Case (Case), in the script he is still referred to as Cage for some reason.

So what do we know at the moment?

First, the director. The film will be shot by Joseph Cann , behind which, to put it mildly, the not very memorable film “Torque” and several music videos (including for Blink 182 and Britney Spears). Wary.

Secondly, the screenwriter. Everything is not so bad, because William Gibson will be the writer himself.

Third, the timing. It is clear that they can change many more times, but now we are informed that the film will be ready next year.

Now, of course, it is still too early to think about something, because the cinema is currently in the pre-production stage. One can only admire the very first version of the movie poster.

Let me remind you that so far on the big screen there were only two films screened by the works of Gibson: these are “Joni-mnemonic” and “Hotel“ New Rose ””.
