Sergey Masyagin, Vice-Rector - Head of the Department for Work with Students and Applicants of Innopolis University: “The Sailfish OS Summer School is open to those interested in developing applications for a new Linux-based operating system. Beginners will get acquainted with professionals and will ask them interesting questions, find out where the application begins. In my opinion, representatives of the mobile applications industry will be interested to talk with those who will come to them in the near future or will compete in this market. This event will be for newcomers an opportunity to gain additional motivation to develop skills in one of the most sought-after areas of the IT sector.

Summer school is suitable for beginners and professionals. Mobile product developers will learn about the ways and features of creating applications for Sailfish OS. Qt and QML specialists will learn how to apply their programming experience for smartphones and tablets. Beginners will gain basic knowledge of the platform and practice in application development. Professionals will demonstrate their skills and share experiences with colleagues.

Creating such an ecosystem is a key task for the coming year. To solve it, we use different platforms and formats, and the Summer School in Innopolis, our home region, is one of the central events.
