LiveJournal and, in part, on
Linux.org.ru there is an active discussion about the role of LUG in the modern world.
Some, of course, hotheads, argue that LUG, as emphasized regional, united solely on a territorial basis, the linuxoid community is attachmentism and it's time to get rid of it. Others are not so categorical and try to offer their views on what functions such communities should perform.
I invite everyone to join the discussion.
