The British Museum, together with the National Library of Russia and the Library of the University of Leipzig, as well as with the support of
St. Catherine's monastery ,
published scanned pages of the
Sinai Code on the Internet.

These documents are, according to experts, the oldest monument of Christian written culture. And now anyone can look at the Bible written about 1600 years ago (at least on some of its pages). In the near future, the rest of the Book will appear on the
Codex Sinaiticus website.
It is worth noting that the initiative of placing the Sinai Code on the Web does not end with merely providing access to scanned pages. The content of the project site will complement numerous articles comments. And not only in English, but also in German, Greek and Russian. However, the Russian-language section is not yet ready. So those who are interested will have to wait.
Many scientists and historians involved in the project call it fantastic. No wonder, earlier, the Sinai Codex assembled bit by bit (some were bought from the Soviet authorities in 1933, some are contained in the National Russian Museum, some were found in the lost cell of St. Catherine in Sinai in 1975) only a few could see. Now the cultural monument is available for public viewing.
