Songsterr - online player guitar tablature

At the end of February, we posted a post about the launch of the first release of the startup Songsterr . Thanks to Habra, we received an influx of attendance and, importantly, feedback from users. After this, a review of the project was published on killerstartups.com and several other popular blogs. In total, the project was visited by 65 thousand people, while a large percentage of the audience from Brazil, France and Germany came to us as a pleasant surprise, where the project appeared on television.

Based on user feedback, we came to the conclusion that the most promising development of the project is assistance in learning to play the guitar.

Our second release is an online guitar player tab.
We took into account the phenomenal popularity among guitarists of the Guitar Pro program and the huge number of Guitar Pro files written by enthusiasts, and created a server application that can play Guitar Pro files in a user-friendly interface.

What has been done so far:

• The player allows you to build a tablature and play individual tracks from Guitar Pro files, for example, 50 popular songs are downloaded that can be played on an acoustic guitar;
  
  support for a limited number of guitar effects;
  
  the quality sound of an acoustic guitar, which, in our subjective opinion, sounds better than a bunch of Guitar Pro 5 + RSE (yes, we know, not everything is perfect with us).
  
  What we plan to do in the near future:
  
  • display of chord symbols;
    
    show lyrics;
    
    the ability to select an arbitrary fragment of the song and play it in a loop
    
    support more guitar effects (suspenders, slides, bands);
    
    electric guitar support;
    
    ability for the user to upload their files.
