GeForce 9500 GT for $ 100 officially

NVidia has officially announced the release of another product from the 9th series of its graphics adapters - GeForce 9500 GT. This map is intended primarily for those users who prioritize not the maximum fps in Crysis, but the optimal ratio of price and performance.

The GeForce 9500 GT video adapter is built on the G96-300-B1 chip, which is made using 55-nm technology. The graphics core works at 550 MHz, the shader units at 1,400 MHz, and memory chips at 800 MHz (GDDR3) or 500 MHz (DDR2). Yes, the GeForce 9500 GT will come in two versions. With 256/512 MB GDDR3 memory and 512 MB DDR2 memory. The difference is quite noticeable: the bandwidth of GDDR3 is 25.6 Gb / s, and DDR2 - 16.0 Gb / s.

The GeForce 9500 GT card uses the PCI Express 2.0 x16 bus, is equipped with 32 stream processors, is compatible with DirectX 10.0 Shader Model 4.0 and OpenGL 2.1. Of course, NVIDIA PureVideo HD Technology, NVIDIA CUDA Technology and NVIDIA SLI Technology are supported. Both versions of NVidia is positioning as PhysX Ready. The maximum power consumption of the GeForce 9500 GT is 50W.

The cost of the GeForce 9500 GT in the US market will not exceed $ 100. This, apparently, for cards with DDR2. And, apparently, only across the ocean. Our novelty will cost, unfortunately, more expensive.
