Developer Meeting on Sphinx, June 18 (Saturday)

Once, Anton Kovalev, a developer from Netology-groups, will share his experience of quickly deploying the Sphinx on the example of the Foxford project . Tutorial : how to quickly autocomplete, get the beautiful context of the found word after the search (snippets / excerpts) and clear the text from the markup (HTML, LaTeX).

Two, Igor Chakrygin will talk about how Sphinx is used in Ozon.ru, including listing methods for updating indexes that have been tested, and will also reveal approaches to solving specific problems encountered during operation. (To make it a little more specific, I know, for example, that the ranking under the hood is quite interesting there.)

Three and four, colleagues from Avito will make two reports. Vyacheslav Kryukov captured the topic “Avito back-office: 1 billion ads on 10 servers”, a lot of data, I want to quickly update and search quickly, all these things.
