Simply the Best. Top Posts in Intel Blog History

Not so long ago, all progressive humanity celebrated the 10th anniversary of Habrahabr . In commemoration of this momentous event in various blogs, several posts appeared at once devoted to one or another aspect of the history of Habr and habros. We also decided to keep up with the general trend and considered the Intel's global blog statistics from the very moment it appeared. Due to the specifics of the company, we love to count everything, we publish traditional New Year's reports , but we dig in so deeply into history for the first time. And there a lot of interesting things are gathering dust!

Intel's first blog post was released on February 25, 2009 . Since then, over the course of 6 and a half years, we have been publishing news on Habré about the release of new products, articles by Intel experts, success stories of our customers, April Fools jokes, announcements of Russian events and much more. In total, 70 authors published over 800 articles during this time. Let's look at the best of them - by rating, number of views, comments and additions to favorites.

Top Rated

Most of the most detested posts are written by Boomburum , the Great and Terrible. An excellent selection of topics: the “iron” test, a historical review of the technology, an analysis of the details from an expert ... and girls, wherever without them. Although getting girls to the top was for us a little unexpected.

Posts that contain relevant information “live” for years, constantly appearing in search engine results, and their visitor counters keep spinning, slowly but surely. Moreover, the rating of such posts may not be great, but if someone needs it, it will be read again and again. Literally read out to the holes.

A good flood is worth a lot. Discussions can take place on a variety of occasions: on the basis of nostalgia, resonant news, quite an analytical article or just a sharply expressed author's opinion. During the discussion, the rating of the post may slip into a minus, which does not always sadden its author.

To be continued

Over the years, Habroblog's Intel tape has become a reflection of the mood and events that the company lives with. In it you can find moments that can now be called historical - for example, the news about the launch of Intel Core processors , and here the devices called the “ultrabook” are mentioned for the first time. There are technologies and developments that have already sunk into oblivion, but this is no less interesting to read about them.

Intel's first blog post was read only 252 times. Now, as you have already seen, the bill goes on hundreds of thousands of views, the average index for the post for all time is about 18 thousand. In essence, the blog has become a real media outlet with its audience that we know and love, and with more than 7.6k registered subscribers. All this, of course, pleases, although, so to speak, obliges. We will keep the bar.

The company continues to work, which means that we will not remain without new topics. Still, this is an exciting activity - to remember the past. Habr, thanks for the fish for a reason!
