Schneider Electric Receives DCS Awards for Innovative Solutions

Schneider Electric, a large French company, won the prestigious DCS Awards in Europe in the nomination for "The best power data center solution". Innovative solutions for data centers will allow you to deploy infrastructure on any objects very quickly, efficiently and cost-effectively, regardless of their size, terrain and distances.

Schneider Electric offers off-the-shelf configurations that include power, cooling, and IT equipment. This provides the flexibility of data center infrastructure. Before you send the finished working modules to the customer, the functional blocks are factory tested and checked by engineers. It is noteworthy that customers receive only the equipment that they currently need. Everything happens on the principle of "pay as you grow." Thus, at the start of deploying their project, the owners manage to reduce capital costs in upgrading capacities. But at the same time, data centers can meet the changing demands of the business and be upgraded as needed.

According to Matthew Baynes, director of business development for data centers, Matthew Baynes:
This prestigious award has become an important confirmation of the success of continuous work in the field of innovative technologies for modular data centers. Our employees really have something to be proud of.

Baines also thanked the jury members, customers and industry colleagues who voted for Schneider Electric.

The technologies of the Internet of Things are rapidly developing; in all business segments, the degree of informatization is growing, the amount of data is increasing. As a result, the direction of “Micro-Data Center” is actively developing, which will reduce delays in the transfer and processing of data and increase the reliability of production processes. Therefore, the demand for high factory readiness solutions from Schneider Electric has increased significantly. The company's technologies allow the establishment of local data centers in the network periphery, thereby reducing operating costs and improving quality.

Technical solutions for compact data centers are provided in a single package along with embedded software that manages power, cooling and equipment operation. On the basis of such "kits" you can create a computing environment with a high level of autonomy and security.

Schneider Electric presented its technical solutions with a standardized modular architecture and allowing to simplify and significantly speed up the deployment of systems. Ready-made solutions of the company have a scalable architecture and can be embedded inside the existing data center infrastructure. But they can also function as external equipment - independently of each other or together.
