Atmos watches do not need a factory. In order to walk, they receive all the necessary energy from small temperature drops in a sealed working environment and can go for years without human intervention.
The source of their energy is a hermetically sealed capsule containing a mixture of gas and liquid ethyl chloride, which expands in the diffusion chamber when the temperature rises, compressing the clock spring; with a drop in temperature, the gas condenses and the spring is weakened.
