I’ll say right away that the project is able to “Try it soon”, the issue price is about 2 weeks. In this post I will describe and show what it will be for the service.

Inspirers
The basis of this idea was: evernote, for a fresh approach to storing content; todoist, for a convenient tree-like way of storing tasks, where each element can become a container for the same elements; oddly enough, outlook, for the ability to store everything in one place, and a bunch of sites and services about GTD orientation.
What happened?
The concept of a personal information manager was born, with a tree structure, but without a hard division by type of information.
')
At the first stage, 5 different types (text, image, bookmark, task, event) can be added to the tree and form any subordination structures.
I think the easiest way to see the screenshots
hereDistribution model
There will be a public version, with open registration, and there will be source codes of everything, deploy in LAN, at work, at least where. I do not mind, I think this is the only true distribution model, in short the WordPress model. And if no one needs a service - I will use one, and wrote for myself :)
Key chips immediately
In addition to the actual pieces of data, you can:
- Transform one type of data into another: text - task, meeting - task, etc.
You can fumble pieces of your tree with other users, look at the screenshot with access rights. If you share data with you, you will see it below the personal tree along with tags and other things.
Separate page with a list of tasks, from any place in the tree, with normal sorting by dates and priority
Export meetings of any piece of wood to your favorite calendar in iCal format
What's next
First of all:
It will be immediately: web-service, the first 5 types of data, in general, everything described above. Finish 80 percent. Two languages: English / Russian. Maybe Japanese.
The second stage:
There will be a normal API, XML is most likely with the main functions: traversing the tree, adding, editing, deleting, task lists, selecting by tags.
There will be a client for iphone, ipod touch (in vain I bought it :), the client will also be normal, with portrait / landscape modes, with online / offline switch, with uploading photos from the camera. For the mobile client API and thinks.
Add another type of audio content to write voice notes from the phone and a large type of "file" so that you can upload documents of supported formats for later viewing from the phone
If you trample, then the client will offer a symbolic money, the developer’s license costs money after all.
Third turn:
There is a crazy idea, which is becoming more and more popular - to implement WebDAV interface for all of this, in order to connect this garbage bin as a network USB flash drive, with content conversion into files and folders, and vice versa. But this later.
Stunning benefits :)
I can finally deploy the service at home and at work. And everyone can
The API will give you the opportunity to write all sorts of useful pieces of the type: applets with task lists, a plugin for the fox comes to mind for adding bookmarks to a certain dropbox for subsequent raking, just like now in the fox, you can write a sync of bookmarks into folders. Many things are possible :)
The absence of a rigid structure gives room for personalization: like GTD - create inbox, contexts and go. We need projects - as much as necessary. Work in a team - share the necessary information, lead the general task lists, follow the general calendar.
What not
The project has no name or design yet. I can not draw. While it will be as it is, then we'll see.
To support the project, I started a blog right here .
In general, something like that. Any criticism, advice, help, etc. are very welcome.
