INDIkator - Wrong Startup

Why wrong?
Very simply, I wanted to create a website that I personally find it interesting and does not enjoy mass popularity, namely, about the indie sub culture.

For those who do not know, indie on the Wikipedia version is a short form of the English word “indiependant” (eng. Independent, “independent”). Usually used in relation to phenomena in modern culture, seeking not to be part of the commercial mainstream (mass culture), not limited to the framework of high culture, but to be completely independent of the needs, perceptions and expectations of consumers.

Briefly about the project:
INDICATOR - self-regulating community. The audience of this project is people who sincerely love music (both listeners and musicians), ready to share new information, good news about their favorite groups (or their own), and just their notes and observations.

On the site, you can create communities, blogs, participate in the "strange tape", vote for your favorite posts (thereby increasing the "Sense of rhythm" - rating posted), comments and friends are also possible, of course.

About registration:
Superior quality, not quantity. INDIE does not want to become the most multiplayer site or the most visited, he wants to be just an interesting and competent resource. This can be achieved only at the expense of users, since they form the indicator.

Prior to the opening of the site, an invitation request form was available, but now it is no longer there, but there is some page that is not so difficult to find, where you can try to get an invite;) The members of musical groups have a special situation.

PS: At the moment the site is in test mode. Spin the last nuts, dry fresh paint. New materials added by a group of testers are waiting to be read.
