Easy tag navigation

Recently, I had to find on my resource information on CSS, which I posted for a long time. What was the title there, I do not remember, in what words I wrote - also.

The day before, I chose the Wiki with the Anton Isaykin using wikimatrix.org , which implemented faceted filtering and the Wizard to select the desired system according to specified criteria. I really liked the idea, but the implementation did not. The wizard was compiled by hand and naturally did not include all the criteria.

This made me think that navigation, to put it mildly, is not very: you can find all the posts about “CSS”, you can about “IE”, but you can't find those about “CSS” and “IE” at the same time.

Is it possible to get the benefits of facet filtering using taxonomy (tags)? Why not?

- Display in the sidebar a dozen of the most common tags.
- If you select any tag, for example, “ CSS ”, we display the first page with entries marked with this tag and all tags that these records also have.
- When selecting one of the specifying tags, for example, “IE”, we look for entries that contain both “CSS” and “IE”.
- If there are more tags - output them.

You can see it in action by clicking on the tags on the right.
