Russian is still great and powerful
Historically, Russian IT terminology borrowed from English technical set of words, fitting them to the rules of the Russian language. And even now in the IT sphere, including in IT journalism, print and online, English professional slang often helps out. Another thing is when words or phrases are screwed into oral or written speech, which can easily be found to have a translation that is just as succinct and much more harmonious.
From my colleagues I often hear the words “message” , “point” , “trend” , “synergy” . It is funny to note that suffering from such a “verbal disorder” is mostly top managers who, at a subconscious level, are already trying to give their words more “weight” and “importance”, thereby trying to confirm their status within the team. Despite the fact that we publish magazines for the Russian-speaking readership, such an unjustified dominance of English words (both in everyday life and in publications) seems to me a disrespect for the language we speak and write - for the sake of imaginary solidity of our thoughts.
But you only need to look once in a couple of dictionaries (or just dig in your head) to get rid of these abstruse words. Enough to spend ten minutes - and it turns out here is a little list.

Massage (from the English. Message ) - the main theme , the idea of publishing or topic in the blog.
Point (from the English. Point ) - the essence of the material, the issue discussed in it. Synonyms : essence, focus, core, core, main
Trend (from the English. Trend ) - the general direction , the trend. Synonyms: spirit, flow.
Synergy (from other Greek συνεργία , from English synergy ) - assistance, complicity, teamwork (in the meaning of the overall work of two or more groups of people on solving a specific issue).
Of course, it is interesting to find out what "words – terrorists" respected habrasosedy face in everyday life or on duty? Comments, of course, are welcome :)
