How to change LiveJournal?

Many of you have probably already heard about iCamp , as well as about the LiveJournal section , within which people can offer their projects to expand the functionality of the service.

So I decided to try my hand and offer something of my own. I studied the possibilities of LiveJournal, thought about the features of the audience and singled out for myself a few key points:

- User activity in LJ is spontaneous. Very often there are situations when a huge army of activists gathers around a certain small event or occasion.
- Users are inclined to commit any actions only if it does not require serious expenditure of their personal time.
- There are authorities, under whose opinion thousands of users are ready to subscribe, regardless of what was said
- Most of the audience is socially responsible and ready to take part in various social initiatives.
')
Yes, the list can be continued for a long time, but I paid attention to these features. And based on these, I decided to offer the LJ administration to give users the opportunity to send online petitions. Many of you have probably come to these sites more than once. The audience of the 5 largest online petition services in the United States reaches several million people a day. Now attention ... In Russia, there is not a single serious player in this market yet. Thanks to Google, I was able to find only one online petition service , but the site has just opened and is in beta testing. LiveJournal has all the trump cards in its pocket: a ready-made platform, a huge active audience, hundreds of communities that have something to fight for.

I actually have no experience in the development of Internet projects, so it is difficult for me to formulate my thoughts in some understandable document that could be presented on iCamp. Therefore, I ask for help in drawing up the correct structure of the presentation.

This is what I have so far:

- General description of the project
- Examples of successful implementation in the international market
- Competitive environment
- Possible technical implementation
- Examples of successful petitions and real proposals for the development of services within the framework of the LJ platform

Surely, I forgot something. I look forward to constructive criticism and the same suggestions!
