Apple is actively buying various companies. The corporation informs the general public about all acquisitions. This is
confirmed by Apple CEO himself, Tim Cook.
According to him, over the past four quarters, Apple conducted 15 acquisitions. The corporation is always in search of strategically interesting companies with interesting technologies and talented employees.

“On average, we buy a company every 3-4 weeks. Therefore, there is no month in the year so that we don’t buy any company, ”says Cook.

to Business Insider, from March 28, 2015, Apple acquired the following companies:

LinX , an Israeli camera maker that may appear in the new iPhone;
3.
Coherent Navigation , a developer of high-resolution GPS technologies;
4.
Metaio , augmented reality technology developer from Germany;
5.
Mapsense , a California mapping company;
6.
VocalIQ , a British speech recognition software developer;
7.
Perceptio , developer of image recognition technologies;
8.
Faceshift , developer of facial animation technology from Sweden;
9.
LegbaCore , a security startup;
10.
Emotient , a startup in the field of artificial intelligence technologies from California;
11.
LearnSprout , a San Francisco company (the only one in its niche) that uses big data analytics technology in education;
12.
Flyby Media , a startup in the field of augmented reality.
Some transactions are reported several months after their closure. Therefore, this list should include at least three more companies.
