Among HR-specialists working in the field of IT, there has long been an opinion that potential applicants pay much less attention to vacancies in which salary is not immediately indicated. So, hh.ru at one time conducted a survey among IT-specialists, in which he
found out that the presence of wages in a vacancy is almost the most critical when deciding on its viewing.
We at
My Circle decided to test this hypothesis on the data we have. We took all the vacancies that were placed on our service from January to March 2016 and looked at how many responses there were for vacancies with and without wages.
And got a very interesting figure. It turned out that if the vacancies with wages of views are only by 3% more, then the number of responses is more by 38%!
')

But what if in these average 38% there is a very large scatter, and vacancies with a small salary of responses will be much less than vacancies without salaries? After all, so many think, is not it? It turned out that this is a false concern: for the responses it does not matter what size the salary is indicated, the main thing is that it just was!

So, we urge our employers to always indicate wages when placing a vacancy on My Circle in order to get more feedback and find the right specialists faster. You can specify not an exact figure, but some reasonable range of possible salaries: “from and to”.
Until today, all the vacancies posted on My Circle were automatically transmitted to our social channels: first of all on
Vkontakte ,
Twitter and
Telegram . However, now we make the decision to broadcast there only vacancies with salaries. After all, they are the most valuable to applicants, as shown by our analysis. Plus, there are already so many vacancies every day that it becomes harder and harder to view them all.
We ask you to turn our employers to this decision of ours and from now on try to set wages in all your vacancies.
Let's explore this topic a little more and conduct a survey. Please answer the question.
