The product-company NGINX, well-known in Russia thanks to the creators of compatriots (first of all to the founder
Igor Sysoev ), and Business Insider called “one of the most important start-ups you have never heard of,” is growing.
In a
press release yesterday, the company reports raising $ 8 million from the Australian telecom giant Telstra’s venture fund (for which it’s a “strategic investment”) and joining the board of directors of the company Tom Hull, who played an important role in creating F5 Networks “application delivery controller (
ADC ).

- 49.2% of the 1000 most loaded websites use NGINX (Microsoft IIS: 6.8%, Google: 9.8%, Apache: 26.6%);
