Created the first exploit for a hole in DNS servers

As expected, it did not take long. Two weeks after Dan Kaminsky discovered a global vulnerability in the DNS system, the first real exploit to exploit this hole was published. The exploit allows you to modify the DNS server cache so that requests to one site are redirected to another site imperceptibly to the user.

The new code is already included in the malicious set Metasploit - a collection of tools for hacking and testing sites. The authors of the exploit were HD Moore (pictured), the creator of Metasploit, and the hacker |) ruid.

In an interview with the press (according to IM), the author of Exloit HD Moore said that it takes from one to two minutes to implement the DNS server cache entry, this is quite long, but he promises to optimize the program for the second version.

Sam Dan Kaminsky says that theoretically hack a DNS server through this hole in a few seconds.
