Devil in the little things!

Original: My observations of all this disgrace. Despite all the assurances of InfraResurs, a bunch of comparative documents that they use in favor of the OpenOffice.org package on their website, the latter still looks very gray against the background of Office 2007. I will not talk about There are a lot of trifles in which Microsoft products bypass OOo. Both packages are functional, both are cool, but Microsoft made it better and more convenient, it can be seen immediately and with the naked eye. Of course, OOO justifies its freedom. I use both packages due to the fact that periodically come across formats that only one of them opens. What they lack is that they support each other’s formats, in which case the need to use two packages will disappear completely. This will bring OpenOffice.org up a notch, and Office 2007 will move a bit back in the eyes of some users. Yesterday, on the website of InfraResurs, I found out that they posted an update to the package with version 2.4.1-1, which supports the Office 2007 format. I was delighted and started downloading the distribution kit. After installation, I select a couple of my files in .docx and open it in Writer- e. What I see on the screen is difficult to describe. Slide unformatted text, which was originally very nicely decorated. I tried the second, third documents - the same story. OpenOffice.org taught to extract text and some tables. But what about the design and styles? For example, I attach a couple of screenshots of this note. Here is the text in MS Office 2007
Here is the text in MS Office 2007 And this is how the text looks in OpenOffice.org
And this is what the text in OpenOffice.org looks like. Asked why lay out such horror and announce it so loudly on the site?
