This will bring OpenOffice.org up a notch, and Office 2007 will move a bit back in the eyes of some users. Yesterday, on the website of InfraResurs, I found out that they posted an update to the package with version 2.4.1-1, which supports the Office 2007 format. I was delighted and started downloading the distribution kit. After installation, I select a couple of my files in .docx and open it in Writer- e. What I see on the screen is difficult to describe. Slide unformatted text, which was originally very nicely decorated. I tried the second, third documents - the same story. OpenOffice.org taught to extract text and some tables.
